N1  - The project purpose is to apply the concept of tuned mass damper to attenuate earthquake-like simulated horizontal oscillations of the top end of a building-like structure. Students use a simple pixel-tracking software to track a point of the frame top to generate an exponential decay-like graph from an initial horizontal displacement.
