"Note: The numerical document of 2014 only consists of films that were released in movie theaters up until early-August. The annual number of films that are found in this latest study, which has been released aafter an all-ancompassing, meticulous research that lasted these past 12 years, may not match up numerically with the figures of previous lexicons. With those we added and those we romoved... films that were renemaed countless times, released in theaters with pirated posters, sold to television channels, as well as oher that were madeup, segments added later on, and collage films were removed from the lists and thrown out. Even if there are films we neglected to see and justed missed entirely despite us following a meticulous and systematic method in this recent study, numerically speaking, the "Encyclopedic Turkish film lexicon 1914-2014" is the most correct for now."
