Summary, etc	Ataol Behramoğlu'nun 'Dörtlükler'ini okurken umutla, güvenle doldu içim. Yarına, yarınlara bir sıcak özlem duydum. (Oktay Akbal, Cumhuriyet, 22 Mart 1980) Ataol Behramoğlu salt bir destan (Mustafa Suphi Destanı) yazmadı. Yaşam öğesi yitip gitmiş olan bir devrim kurbanının canlanmasına yardım edecek birçok değerli bilgiyi de yıllarca süren araştırıcı zekâsıyla bulup yerli yerine koydu. (Hasan İzzettin Dinamo, Eleştiri, 1 Şubat 1980) Behramoğlu'nun bu yapıtı üzerine (Bebeklerin Ulusu Yok) , şiirimize katkılarını ayraç içine alıp şimdilik şunu söylemekle yetineceğim: İlkokuldan üniversiteye değin bütün öğrencilere salık verilmeli, ayrıca, milyonlarca çoğaltılıp parasız dağıtılmalı. (M. Öneş, Milliyet Sanat, 15 Aralık 1988) AKM'nin büyük salonu, balkonlar dahil herkes Ataol Behramoğlu'nu dinliyor (...) Ben şairlerin kendi eserlerini okumalarından ayrı bir haz duyarım. Kişilikle şiir arasındaki, yaratanla yaratılan arasındaki iletişim beni ilgilendiriyor, etkiliyor.
